Colliders’ Corner – Week 3

BOX SCORE

Week 3 proved to be the Colliders’ biggest challenge to date. The entire backfield, including Aaron Rodgers, collectively shit the bed. Defensive tackle slash hero Dontari Poe could only muster one tipped pass. It was not looking like a win would be in the making against the also-undefeated-Silvertips.

But then the Colliders’ receivers played. Boy did they play. TE Cameron Jordan caught 3 TD passes en route to 25.5 points. Dude’s a beast. Calvin Johnson and Julio Jones chipped in, as they usually do, with 16 and 12 points, respectively.

But the real champion was WR Antonio Brown, who went off for 29.26 points,

earning the Game Ball. The Colliders’ needed Brown’s heroic performance to secure the win.

The Colliders hit 180 points again, and were actually the highest scoring team of the week again. Currently they have a 32-1 all-play record. Sadly for Weldin, the Silvertips were the #2 scoring team this week.

On the defensive side of the ball, the Colliders got a defensive touchdown out of LB Daryl Smith, who was acquired for $9 less than Arthur Brown, his current backup. Linebackers Lavonte David and Derrick Johnson helped lift an otherwise lifeless defense. Newly acquired safety Baccari Rambo was apparently demoted to special teams, so he scored nothing. Thanks for the information, every fantasy website out there.

The Colliders face long time rival Madtown, and will be without the services of Aaron Rodgers. Hopefully Kaepernick will bounce back from his previous 2-week total of 0.57 points. I predict about a 10-point game out of him.
