BOX SCORE

The Colliders were up against their arch-rival, the Madtown Marauders. Though the Marauders had not managed to win a game so far, they of course gave the Colliders all they could handle. Batavia, without the services of Aaron Rodgers, played down to the competition.

QB Colin Kaepernick at least came out of the slump he had been in for the two

previous games to put up a respectable 10 points. Running back Arian Foster defied expectations and finally put up his best game of the year, scoring 17.55 points (against the stout Seahawks defense no less.) Not to be outdone, TE Jordan Cameron also put up 17.55 points, and the two players shared the Game Ball this week.

Antonio Brown chipped in 13 points, having yet another solid outing.

The defense combined for a mere 59 points, most of which were scored by the linebacking corps.

The game came right down to the wire. In the Sunday Night game, WR Julio Jones and S William Moore were matched up against some Atlanta CB named McClain. Jones was subdued for most of the game, and was even knocked out of it for a while. But an onsides-kick recovery spurred Jones into action, and he caught a long pass, which was just enough to push the Colliders past the Marauders.

The Colliders pushed their record to 4-0, but even more satisfying was watching the division winner for the past two seasons fall to 0-4. Unfortunately for Batavia, the Fransburg (r)EvoLUtion are nipping at their heels, with a 3-1 record.
