COLLIDERS’ SIGNS OF LIFE SNUFFED OUT BY CRACKLING KRAKENS TEAM

184 points wasn’t enough, because Colliders.

BOX SCORE

The Colliders outscored all but two teams this week, and as luck would have it, they played against one of those two teams. The loss to the Krakens greatly increased their chances at relegation.

Batavia saw great performances across the board, including a huge 26 point game from Jason Pierre-Paul, who was benched for mediocre play. Whoops. One pleasant surprise was Adrian Peterson, who was picked up off of waivers for $25 after he was traded to Arizona. Julio Jones continued his amazing scoreless streak, and Cam Newton’s three interceptions sure didn’t help. Overall, though, the scoring explosion gave fans hope that maybe the season isn’t lost after all.

Of course, no amount of scoring matters it they don’t score more than their opponent, something they haven’t done in five straight weeks.

The Colliders take on Marshfield next week, who they totally would have defeated this week. This won’t be true in week 7.
