BATAVIA, IL
The Colliders made some more roster moves today, cutting three players. Eric Berry and Corey Liuget are currently NFL Free Agents, and Robert Nkemdiche was moved from defensive tackle to defensive end.
“That makes him basically dead to me,” said Owner/GM Josh Hammond. “I could wait around to see if he gets moved back to DT, or I could just cut him. I went with just cutting him.”
As for Eric Berry, he signed with the Colliders in 2016, but was only available to play in 19 out of a possible 48 games the past three seasons. Berry’s another year older and doesn’t have an NFL team, so the Colliders seem to be done with the experiment.
Batavia has nearly $200 in cap room to play with entering restricted free agency. Most observers close to the team believe they’ll offer the franchise tag to Antonio Brown if he “doesn’t get hurt or something” before the deadline.

Berry: another case of so much talent, but can’t stay healthy …
I’ve been waiting for Jurrell Casey to get moved to DT (his actual position) for years now. Never understood that one.
