Kamara Signs Franchise Tag

Kamara rejoins the winning team

BATAVIA, IL

After initial speculation that Alvin Kamara might be seeking a trade, last year’s leading running back agreed to sign the franchise tag. The Colliders guaranteed he’d be able to test the open market for the 2022 season, and then perhaps he’d find the long-term deal he’s seeking.

Kamara will make $62.93, which is market value for elite RBs. He has been locked into a team friendly salary for the past 4 years.

“We’ve done some big things in Batavia during my time,” said Kamara. “I almost got that 2nd ring last year. It left a bitter taste in my mouth and you’d best believe I’m coming back to finish that business.”

Kamara joins backfield mates Derrick Henry and David Montgomery for one last bite at the apple.
