BATAVIA, IL
With just over a week until the Colliders host Travis Kelce and the Cleveland Battery in the opener, the team has come to terms with star tight end Darren Waller. He was able to convince management that his holdout demands for $16.84 were a steal given the Battery dropping $47 large on Kelce.
The Colliders agreed, offering a two-year extension in exchange for knocking the initial price tag down to $15.16.
Waller becomes the 4th highest paid TE this year, but hopes to end more money on the back end of the contract.
Colliders management expressed delight at the signing.
“We’re delighted,” said Hammond.
The cash strapped Colliders still face holdouts from WR Robert Woods, CB Marlon Humphrey, and S Logan Ryan. It remains to be seen if anybody else will get a deal done.

$15 looks like a really good deal these days!
Seriously. The fact that he’s the 4th highest paid TE even after the holdout was met is nuts.
