It’s a good move if Haskins can play. It’s troubling that he can’t unseat Case Keenum, but maybe he just needs more time. Weird pick when Daniel Jones was RIGHT THERE for the taking. (JK)
Sure, why not get a RB in the last round? Green Bay is a dumpster fire, and they completely wasted Aaron Rodgers’ prime by keeping McCarthy for so long, but this Williams guy might get his shot eventually. It’s the 5th round, you know?
There’s no reason to rush Haskins this year. It’s not like they are in the championship hunt. Tons of young guys at the skill positions. Still, yeah if he can’t beat out Case at some point …
No rush from our perspective. But Jay Gruden is on the hot seat and can’t afford to wait a year for wins. I think Haskins is starting no later than a Week 5……….
That’s the reason you hardly see any tanking in the NFL. Coaches want to win as many games as possible with their garbage teams so they don’t get fired.
